On Saturday, April 11th, the Athens-Ben Epps Airport served as the backdrop for our 6th Annual Scholarship Fly-In. We are proud to announce that through the incredible generosity of our community, we raised $5,000, which was awarded as a flight training scholarship to Lance Taylor.
The afternoon was a meaningful celebration of flight and fellowship, bringing together a diverse group of students, alumni, and local pilots. Attendees enjoyed a wide variety of aircraft on display, live music, and great food, all while connecting over a shared passion for the skies.
The Fly-In continues to be the UGA Aviation Club’s signature event, and we are honored to play a role in supporting the next generation of aviators. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this year’s scholarship possible!
